Barn Hunt United Kingdom

Barn Hunt, wildly successful in the United States, is now starting up in the United Kingdom. Some tasks will continue to be handled by the U.S., specifically registering dogs and compiling and showing title awards. The chief administrator of Barn Hunt in the UK is Jacqueline Tulip.

How will it work?

The U.S. office of Barn Hunt will be acting as a data manager for the UK, but the operation of the sport itself, including Rules, setting up Clubs, appointing Judges, etc. will be done by the UK. The U.S. office will not handle with inquiry emails, issues, etc. It will just be handling registrations and data.

Registering a dog

You register your dog using the Register button at the top of this page. You will pay in dollars, and that will be converted at the time of sale using current currency values. All registrations use the PayPal portal. All registrations are non-refundable. There is no yearly fee, it's a one-time lifetime registration of your dog.

Your Records

Barn Hunt numbers are produced instantly upon completion of payment. You will use that number to enter Events. Note that this number is good for both the UK and the U.S. and dogs can compete in either country. You will also be able to access your dog's qualifying record and view and print titles on the Register. Your records are accessed via this website in the U.S., barnhunt.com. Log In to see your dog's info. Be sure to keep your login and pass.

Specialized UK rules are coming soon. Meanwhile use the Rulebooks link above to review the U.S. rules as many will be similar (the UK will not use live rats but classes, levels etc. will be the same).
